TukeyHSD no longer working with aov output?
I can prove I've done this before, but I recently installed Rexcel (and it
was easiest to reinstall R and some other bits to make it work) and now its
no longer working.
Before I would do an ANOVA and a tukey post-hoc like this:
>data1.aov=aov(result~factor1*factor2, data=data1)
then...
>TukeyHSD(summary(data1.aov))
and it would give me a nice tukey table of all the pairwise

Lme does not work without a random effect (UNCLASSIFIED)

How to get the test statistic corresponding to the p-value in mtable?
Dear R-Users,
I want to use mtable from package "memisc" to produce Latex-style estimation
output. However, mtable() only gives me a p-value and not the corresponding
test-statistic. Does anyone know how to extract it, either from a glm/anova
object or mtable? Here is a short example:

It looks from str(SA) that Response IPS1 is a data.frame of class "anova", which probably cannot be coerced to vector.
Maybe you can use unlist() instead of as.vector()
Or something like
SA[["Response IPS1"]]["as.factor(WSD)",] ## to select the first row only, even maybe with unlist()
Without a better REPRODUCIBLE example, I cannot tell more (maybe some others

reading tables into R. .

The file I am reading is a text file, whose contents are a matrix that has 15 rows and 58 columns. The first row has column names, and the first column has row names, so the format is correct as far as using read.table is concerned. The other values in the table are all float values (numeric). Is there a fast way to do several hundred thousand ANOVA tests?

I have a matrix a and a classification vector b such that

the number of Sample Size at Sample Size Axis that line
draw from Power Axis (80%) from R code.

I need to understand a thing in the beheaviour of the two functions aov and
anova in the following case
involving an analysis of ANOVA with repeated measures:

Random effects ANOVA?
Hi all --
So I have a very simple dataset, which consists of 60 subjects,
who watched one of three videos, drank one of two drinks, and
completed a task. The response variable is the time to complete the
task. The ANOVA command is simple enough: anova(aov(time ~ drink *
video, data = df));
However, the videos were randomly selected; I need to use the
random effects model for them. So

What is the difference between anova {stats} and aov?
There are anova {stats} and aov in R. It seems that anova takes an
object returned by a model fitting function. But I don't see any
examples for anova. Can somebody give me a simple example on anova?
