Again, please pardon the rapid-fire releases but given that newbies cannot install 3.0.1 on a standalone system without uploading and installing files from the errata, I feel that I should release 3.0.2 now. Problems Corrected in 3.0.2 1) A couple of typos in the one-interface sample configuration have been corrected. 2) The 3.0.1 version of Shorewall was incompatible with old versions of the Linux kernel (2.4.7 for example). The new code ignores errors produced when Shorewall 3.x is run on these ancient kernels. 3) Arch Linux installation routines has been improved. New Features in 3.0.2 1) A new Webmin macro has been added. This macro assumes that Webmin is running on its default port (10000). -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ teastep@shorewall.net PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key

Reminder: these are built on Mandrake 10.0, and ought to work on newer Mandrake releases. However, I do not try or test past Mandrake 10.0, nor do I have any plans to upgrade past Mandrake 10.0. I will switch distro''s by the end of the year. I haven''t decided which distro I will switch to yet, but if it doesn''t have Shorewall packages, I will continue to package on that platform. -- Jack At Monkeynoodle.Org: It''s A Scientific Venture... Did you do something special with your shorewall rpms or is it a rebuild on Mandriva using the original shorewall spec ?> I will switch distro''s by the end of the year.
