Yes and No.
For the "Yes" part, see Shorewall FAQ 32.
For the "No" part:
You can only get "double the speed to the net" for individual
connections if both ADSL connections go to the same ISP and that ISP
offers equalization over those connections (in which case, you use the
TEQL facility in Linux).
