[Shorewall-users] config to allow for netatalk server within a LAN
Hello Apologies if this has been asked before re configuring for netatalk access Looked in the archives to no avail.(search would be good). Have a mandrake box within a LAN of macs, that is separate from the main firewall (debian) and server(mandrake). The mandrake server box is running another instance of netatalk which the all of the macs access. Want to use shorewall to have a firewall within the firewall on my own mandrake box in the LAN and want to allow mac users to access files off this machine as well as allow me to use the net and mail services etc from the main server. Have only used shorewall at home on a standalone system.Must say it is fantastic! The box I want to install on has only one ethernet interface, could perhaps install another, if that is desirable.Any help or comments apreciated. Thanks Matt
