[Shorewall-users] RedHat installation requirements...
<begin off topic rant> RedHat''s installation requirements are yet another reason why I think they''re going down the wrong road for me. In an effort to be all things to all people, RedHat has become quite bloated and difficult to work with. Trimming down even a basic installation has become quite a task. That''s why I''ve been moving all of my server builds to Gentoo (gentoo.org). Small, fast, and nothing there that I didn''t select. It''s a great distribution for smaller machines (small RAM, small disk) and its performance is excellent. Shoreline Firewall works like a charm, too... <end off topic rant>
