New production system - a couple of issues hope you can help
...read on my own. I've already read in the howto for setting up a member server but that brief section explaining it I guess isn't clear enough for me. If I could solve a few of these issues we will have a very stable and fast system. Thanks in advance. Rich Thanks, Richard Webb Zylatech, LLC

I just tried that and I got the same error. I think there is some extended acl support that I'm missing somewhere. It's like the setfacl command is not recognizing the AD groups as valid groups. I should also add the following information: This server is built up on CentOS 6.6 Minimal using the Sernet-Samba Enterprise packages. It looks like the binary that is running is

Sernet Packages - description
Would someone be so kind as to explain the differences between the sernet packages? Either that or point me to an internet resource that would explain it? What I'm trying to figure out is what packages to use to set up a full fledged member server in an existing samba4 domain with an existing DC. I want to be able to create a share on this server and then be able to manage it's

Please is there anyone who has an answer on why this might be happening? Do I need some sort of sssd support or winbind or something? In the wiki about setting up acl's it doesn't say anything about any other requirements, only that you have to have acl support and xattr support in your filesystem which I do. I'm trying to deploy this server and I need a working solution tomorrow -

I don't think that I have Avahi running anywhere. It wasn't found on DC2 or FS1 servers - even though everywhere I read that it's on by default in CentOS 7.
