Cisco 79XX Ringers & chan_sccp
Hello: Does anyone know how to configure any of the Cisco 79XX phones to get custom ringers when using chan_sccp with Asterisk? I've currently got Asterisk's 05-24-04 CVS-HEAD and Zozo's 0.2 release of chan_sccp. I've tried using ringlist.dat, but that appears to only be for the SIP phones... Thanks for any input, Andrew

Never mind I was missing libreadline-dev I gues this check would be good to be added with an error to the configure script since it creates error in compilation Regards, Peter > On 22 Nov 2015, at 20:06, Keresztes Péter-Zoltán <zozo@z0z0.tk> wrote: > > Hello, > > I have got into a different issue while trying to compile the latest version of libguestfs: > > CC guestfish-edit.o > CC guestfish-events.o > CC guestfish-file-edit.o > CC guestfish-fish.o > fish.c: In f...

chan-sccp problem, phone is not registering
Hi list! I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server. The phones do not work and I think the problem is that they do not register at asterisk but I'm not sure because I don't understand a thing of the sccp/skinny

Re: libguestfs on proxmox
Unfortunately I cannot use the latest version of libguestfs therefore I am stuck with the 1.20 since the newest versions need augeas 1.0.0 where debian wheezy has only 0.7 in it’s repository. But I will try to compile the ocaml 4.01 and see what is the result. Keresztes Péter-Zoltán zozo@z0z0.tk I haven’t lost my mind, I know exactly where I left it. On 01 Jul 2014, at 18:19, Richard W.M. Configuring Bandwidth.com SIP trunks to prevent one-way audio
Hello, We have 2 SIP trunks from Bandwidth.com and if both are in use and someone tries to dial out, they cause another call to get one-way audio (the caller hears us, we cannot hear them). This happens 100% of the time and Bandwidth.com doesn't offer any support. I don't see any setting that tells Asterisk that there are 2 channels available from Bandwidth.com's IP. I'm

asterisk sccp support
Hi zozo, sorry to bother you; I've been trying to get a cisco 7920 phone (that's the cute wifi/wireless modell) to work with asterisk (no success so far) and ran across your chan_sccp module; is there a current cvs version that I could base my tests on? tar version 0.1 seems to be ~2003-09-12, cv...

AW: Problems with Cisco 7920/Skinny/Asterisk
...SEP<mac>.CNF.xml handy for >me ? it should be documented at the cisco page, but it isn't :-( The default file should only get requested when the specific file wasn't found. The ony slightly relevant thing I've found so far is a sample file in the chan_sccp package (http://www.zozo.org.uk/pages.shtml?page=sccp), a 2nd implementation for skinny protocol (and no, I can't get that to work either). >I still have the issue that the 7920 spits out "No Service - IP Config >failed" but Asterisk is giving me sign that the phone has registered. Kirk IP600 Wireless DECT station setup??
...o protol. With Skinny the phones register properly at * but I cannot get a handset to ring on an incoming call. The calling party just hears a tone as if the phone were ringing even though it's not. I would like to try SCCP but could not get the phones to register (I didn't try the old ZoZo version just the latest) but cannot get it working and have no idea how to debug SCCP (I tried asking the maintainers but did not get a reply). Is there anyone that has has success with this unit and is willing to share his configs or are there any experts on Skinny/SCCP that can sort it out f...

Using unix paths in console mode wine apps
...here an environment variable that enables plain Unix filenames in Wine applications? I need to cross compile PostgreSQL and some third party modules on my Fedora 15 system to 64-bit Windows. PostgreSQL uses its "pg_config" for 3rd party code to tell the include dir, compile flags, etc: [zozo at localhost postgis-1.5.3]$ /usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/bin/pg_config.exe --pgxs Z:/usr/X86_~FWL/sys-root/mingw/lib/POST~SMW/pgxs/src/MAKE~WLE/pgxs.mk This path doesn't exist as is but "winepath --unix" can convert it to a more useful one. Is there an environment variabl...

More Success on the Cisco 7920 and SCCP !!!!!
Hi All, have some decent success on the 7920 "activation" in Asterisk. Latest status: chan_skinny does NOT work with 7920 chan_sccp does WORK with 7920 (!!) however: to remove coredumping the chan_sccp just comment out the MWI (messagewaitingindicator), then it compiles fine. Then change sccp_helper.c: return "P0060302" instead of the old value. and voila: Phone is

NAT and SIP
Hi, Does Asterisk have a limit to how many NAT'ed SIP clients it supports behind a single IP? I have the weirdest problem ever. I have three SIP endpoints. SNOM phones, if it matters. Their extensions are 200, 201 and 202. Apart from the username/password, the sip entries in sip.conf all have identical configuration. They're all NAT'ed behind the same IP. 200 and 202 registers
