I have a 3com webconnect webcam and the software I use is webcam32. Has anyone any experience using this with Wine?

I tried to run Soulseek under Wine and it starts up, gives me a message about "This application is requesting an ActiveX browser object but the Mozilla Active X control is currently noot installed. I run several programs under Wine. Specifically, I'm running the win32 half-life server, hlds.exe, and the program TotalCommander, a windows file manager program. If I try to minimze either of these programs, they minimize and immediately pop back up again.
