Hello, I can't seem to get Samba-3 to work with Active Directory. I'm currently running Solaris 9(Sparc). When I run ./configure --with-ads it seems to compile fine. In the end I did that, i.e.; removed ZoneAlarm completely from my system and replaced it by some other firewall (and also informed ZoneLabs about that conflict) ... and lived happily ever after ;-) Hopefully this information is of help to others running into similar problems. Hello All, I'm having an odd problem with one user, he connects just fine to the Samba share but immediately get's an access denied message. The only thing out of the ordinary that I can see in the log file is the snippet below. I believe if your samba server is a member in one of the workgroups and there is a trust relationship between it and the other workgroup then you can configure samba to allow from the other workgroup in effect serving both workgroups.
