Ajax Request Caching by Timestamp?
...rent timestamp on that fragment. if
its identical. send back a 0/nochange notice. otherwise send back the
newer data with its timestamp.
- now further xhr requests from client contain the updated timestamp.
I''d like to know if anyones already attempted or thought of this before.
Thanks!

hardware crypto and SSL?
Is anyone successfully using some sort of hardware crypto solution to
combat the overhead of SSL in http transactions? I'd love to hear
anything good or bad about this.

Multi-User Security
Hello list.
I would like to get your opinion on what is a safe multi-user environment.

machine on our server using rsync and SSH. Therefore, they all have a user
account on our server. However, we must ensure that they would absolutely

Best way to filter "Nachi pings"?
We're being ping-flooded by the Nachi worm, which probes subnets for
systems to attack by sending 92-byte ping packets. Unfortunately,
IPFW doesn't seem to have the ability to filter packets by length.
Assuming that I stick with IPFW, what's the best way to stem the
tide?

I've checked the configuration file for SpamAssassin, but yet I havn't find any good
solution for spam.. Sure, spam will
