Random Zap Channel Resets
Every so often, and it seems that it happens only when a call is in progress, all 24 Zap channels get reset. All channels are opened and then timeout. This causes the in-progress calls to terminate. There are no corresponding Red/Yellow alarms on wither the PBX or Asterisk although we do receive a fair amount of Blue Alarms. The Asterisk server is connected to a legacy PBX through a Digium

Threeway calling uses up two FXO lines
I'm running Asterisk (stable branch downloaded 2-Sep-05) on RedHat 9 and I have a TDM22B installed (TDM400 w/ 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports). Everything seems to work except threeway calling. I can establish a threeway call, but it uses up BOTH FXO lines. Note that I DO have threeway calling active with my Bell service. Here's a typical scenario: 1) Call 765-1574, 2) When they answer, press

Crash - What is happening here???
The following transfer led to a crash of asterisk, without leaving a core or any utterances in messages or debug file. It looks like the zombie which was created during the MASQ-transfer was not cleaned up... But why did it start a Dial??? And... why does Asterisk die when this happens?? Thanks!!! No CID on ZAP
I am using asterisk version 1.2.6 with Zaptel version 1.2.5. I have a POTs line coming into a Digium TDM01B. It appears to not be getting CID at all. If I hook up a POTS phone to the line CID comes through fine. Inbound and outbound calls work fine but there is just no CID on inbound for this channel. The incoming route for the channel is Zaptel Channel 0. No DID or CID settings applied. My IP

Random Zap port going crazy When channel released after a flash.
On 1.2.x I have a random problem when a Zap/x channel flashes to transfer or make a three way call. The Zap/x-2 channel is created and the transfer or three way proceeds, but on hangup the Zap/x-1 channel fails to destroy the old bridge and asterisk goes crazy logging the problem. Here is an example debug log. This happens only once a day or so, with 100 or so users transfering and three

FXO not picking up; baffled
I'm a newbie to Asterisk, but I'm moderately knowledgeable about phone systems. Right now, I'm most certainly confused. I have a TDM-04B (four FXO) and four analog FXO lines running into it from an AdTran 616. I have Asterisk working internally, although I could use some help getting incoming calls to answer properly and configuring my outbound dialplan. Here's where I'm

transfers with zap channel
Ok, I've seen discussion before on doing transfers (attended and unattended), there seems to be much confusion over it. As things sit, I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to do transfers with a zap channel (analog phone attached to TDM400). I have no idea what I'm missing. My current understanding is that I need to have transfer=yes in zapata.conf, do a flash hook, dial the 2nd
