Blocking outgping caller id on a PRI E1
...from AMI and I have tried a blank "CallerId:" line and "CallerId: <>"". Neither of those made any difference. I have also tried "hidecallerid=yes" in chan_dahdi.conf, but that has also made no difference. I assume that I am missing something obvious? AMD and fax detection
...far end sends fax tones? I am guessing that, as it is using DSP to detect sounds and periods of silence, the same DSP can also report if a CED tone is sent. If it is feasible, is there a document describing the DSP interface that someone who is not familiar with DSP can use to get started? AMI status events with res_fax_spandsp.so
Is anyone else using the AMI with res_fax_spandsp.so for real-time status? I am working on migrating a FAX application from res_fax_digium.so to res_fax_spandsp.so. I have noticed that the spandsp module generates far fewer AMI status events than the Digium module and the generated events contain less information. For example when sending a fax there is no longer an event for every page. There

Moving the Home dir to new server
I have a new Centos installation that has an empty /home dir and there are no users...just root. I want to move the home directory from another server to the new one. At this time the old /home directory has been tarred with "-prf". That will keep permissions which could be a problem. Is there a simple way to move the /home directory? And the non-system users in the password
