Public Apology to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore
I was misconstrued as having insulted Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. My words were twisted and misinterpreted and I feel that there is a need to explain myself and set the record straight. CentOS as Guest OS on Red Hat Virtualisation 4.x

[LLVMdev] Recommended pattern to use LLVM JIT in a multithreaded application
...it long, I'll keep this short: What is the "best practice" way to use LLVM JIT in a multithreaded application? I've noticed there can only be one JIT ExecutionEngine present in the application, and putting the engine in a singleton instance doesn't seem to work. If yes, can you please also provide some details of the Wintel (Windows on Intel) specifications that you have used to achieve that, and perhaps the JSpeex encoding/decoding specs used? Thanks. [LLVMdev] JIT relocations and stub memory issue
Hi All, Can anyone explain why the MachineRelocation field "NeedsStub" is set to true for GlobalValues on x86_64, but false on plain x86? This is causing the JITEmitter to allocate a stub for every GlobalValue relocation it encounters on x86_64, quickly exhausting the 512K region for stubs in the default JIT memory manager. Is this expected behavior? Is there anyway to override the stub

Hidden Markov model in R: books or tutorial biomed/ecology slant
Hi, I was just wondering if there are any books on R that have applications using Hidden Markov models or anyone with tutorials/exercises that can be shared. Ideally, these would have a bio/ecological slant though not neccesarily. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
