XRDB not in our centos6.8 build
...CentOS release 6.8 (Final) from a prior 6.x centos release. We ran into a couple of problems such as Java not working (just had to yum install java). It was installed, but unable to create a java machine, until I yum install java solved the problem. But now a user (the big boss) is receiving xrdp errors. And it appears that xrdp is not installed on these newly built servers. I googled xrdp and was unable to decipher if it is needed in our environment (we use sas which does use X11 graphics on the servers to export graphs). If it is needed, wondering why it not included in the groups we...

XRDP idle disconnect
Hello, I have a machine with Centos7, Plasma desktop and XRDP. Many people log in the machine, and then press 'X' of the rdp window, instead of logging off. Is there a way to automatically log off their sessions, similar to MS Windows setting? Thanks,

How do graphical admin tools requiring root get authentication?
...when connecting directly to the Virtual Machine's console (think connecting directly to the physical machine) all of the system-config, firewall configuration, application update and install GUI applications work fine and prompt for root login when executed. Hoever if I connect to the VM using xrdp with a tiger-vncserver backend the apps either do not work, or take several minutes to prompt for the root password. Here is a post I made in the forums that has no response: https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=45307&sid=865afae345fe831c86661f5f264f9021 It looks like my pro...
