Hi can anyone help please? I recently updated from 3.0.7 to3.0.8 to 3.0.9. Since 3.0.8 I recognized XP not loading the roaming profiles, without any error report temporary local profiles were used, but not copied to the server. All worked fine with 3.0.7. Only members of the admingroup are able to load and to save their profiles. Is there any known issue about profiles and ACL??? The smblogs

I used the gplpv drivers 0.9.11-pre17, the PV drivers from Novell, and the drivers from Citrix XenSource with the XenServer 5. I had to restart Samba to see that share since it was stuck, I have experienced the same fenomenon with XPsp2 and W7 clients. The can only reconnect to the server if they logoff the XP client and login again. I have loads of other XP users and Mac clients who do not have this problem. They are all using XPSP2. I've tried loads of server settings and some XP registry settings but it still happens. Some of these PCs where ghosted and I didn't change the SID so I am going to try that next. Any other thoughts? I have an MS-DOS boot floppy image that I am trying to load using MEMDISK. The disk is simply a boot floppy made using XPSP2. I have tried it on 4 different machines, all Dells. Hello all I have a samba domain member authenticating to a w2k3 server, after installing SP1, there were problems, and a solution I found was to change to security = ads. This seemed to work fine, but today no-one can get their home drives, and some people are denied access to shares where the permissions on the files are rwx for the user.
