Running CentOS 4 w/ BlueQuartz on a whitebox, and getting this cron.daily email: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: error running postrotate script Is this a common problem? Thoughts on a typical solution? thnx, Manny

I am not sure how to correctly troubleshoot this. I just noticed that my /var/log/xferlog file is huge. There are no files in /etc/logrotate.d/ for xferlog. This is what leads me to believe that it isnot rotating. Or perhaps I do not have it set to rotate. I am not sure. I am running CentOS release 5 (Final). Can someone tell me what I, apparently, do not have configured correctly. Thank

Perhaps I'm not looking in the right places, but I don't see a way of doing this in the current code. The "scponly" shell goes some (small) way towards doing this, however, it logs patterns rather than filenames in scp transfers. I have even less success with sftp. If

Hello list, I was able to get passive mode worked out. I'm really glad I was able to do this. I'm able to log into the ftp server, list directories, enter subdirectories and upload/download files.
