Running CentOS 4 w/ BlueQuartz on a whitebox, and getting this cron.daily email: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: error running postrotate script Is this a common problem? Thoughts on a typical solution? thnx, Manny

I am not sure how to correctly troubleshoot this. I just noticed that my /var/log/xferlog file is huge. There are no files in /etc/logrotate.d/ for xferlog. This is what leads me to believe that it isnot rotating. Or perhaps I do not have it set to rotate. I am not sure. I am running CentOS release 5 (Final). Can someone tell me what I, apparently, do not have configured correctly....

Hello, On my previous TFTP server I had logging. I did see all requests in logfiles. On my current TFTP server I have also added the options '-v -v -v', but nog logging. I've got a problem with vsftpd on a new CentOS system. Most users can login and list and everything but when they want to transfer files the client says "transfer failed" or so. However, it works fine with two users. Of course, these two have been created by me and used only by me. So, I didn't detect the problem before other users tried to upload. I tried with the command
