Hi, I'm about to buy new video card, and was looking at ATI PCI-E Radeon X550. However, I don't see that particular chipset mentioned anywhere in docs. The X300 is there, as well as X600 and X800. Hey all, On my X86-64 CentOS 6.6 machine I just ran yum update. In the update was an upgrade from the 340.XX Nvidia package to the 346.XX package. Hrmmm? I'm thinking this is not a good idea but, since this is just a test system any way, I let it run. Sure enough I was right. Things are working but the playback sounds that I hear when tring to connect over IAX are of very high frequency. i.e a sentence which should finish in 4 secs finishes in much lesser time. Hi, I am running ubuntu 7.10 gutsy, and I have compiz working on one monitor ( a bit slow though ). When I add twinview to the mix compiz still comes up, and sort of works but: 1. I loose the background and it is replace by all white 2. The second monitor draws about 30% of the new white background, then it ends with a bit of a shadow, and then it continues with black 3.
