gcc4 compiler warnings
Hi all!
The following files emits warnings when compiled with gcc 4.0:
al175.c
bcmxcp_ser.c
belkinunv.c
cyberpower.c
everups.c
powercom.c
solis.c
All warnings seem to be of this variety:
everups.c:38: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 2 of 'ser_get_char' differ in signedness
I suggest that those who fiddles with those drivers fixes the warnings
and verifies that it works

Status of Windows Theora builds
...and Windows would
like to take a look, I'm sure there'll be happiness all around.
The good news is: all the other experimental programs seem to work fine.
I've tested dumpvid, encoderwin, and transcoder, and they seem OK.
Back to your regular hacking, then ...

player_example vs splayer
Speaking of portability and people more familiar with SDL:
The reason we have two example players for theora is that monty wrote
the original example around the OSS audio interface used on several free

support, and is quite widely ported.

Anyway, if you have more of a C++ bent or just want an alternative to
libogg on UNIX, have a look at the oggdsf-derived libraries. Happy hacking!

Status of Windows builds for libvorbis/libogg
...the oggdsf tree can just use
svn:externals to remain in sync with the trunk, rather than re-importing
the source trees of each of the codecs into the oggdsf tree.
Unless there are any objections, I'm happy to go ahead and make these
changes over the coming week or two.
