synchronizing 4617 files (out of 1538823)
...eofcamelot/buyit_unit.html pc/rpg/darkageofcamelot/buyit_unit_ice.html the actual docroot has 1538823 files. building the file list takes a very long time. i would like rsync to only consider the 4617 files listed in the file. i've tried: rsync -Re ssh --include-from=/tmp/paths.txt docroot ww1:/var/httpd/htdocs it says "skipping directory docroot" and nothing happens. i tried this: rsync -Re ssh `cat /tmp/paths.txt` ww1:/var/httpd/htdocs it returned: /usr/bin/rsync: Argument list too long. the only way i got it to work was to do this: rsync -ave ssh --include '*/'...

Do I need to defile my machine, or is there a simple work-around
...for DLLs that Wine provides? I noticed that there is no longer a default registry file in the Wine source tree to be installed when Wine is set up - so the question in my mind is "How are the initial registry entries set up now?" For those interested - MPLab is a free download: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/MP720_Full.zip

an easy way to deal with/without leading "1" ?
...ng distance in the US. The regular long distance is set up so users can but don't have to dial one. That's pretty easy, just one more exten statement. But it's a pain dealing with all the 8xx area codes that are toll free. I tried exten=>exten => _!877NXXXXXX,2,Dial(${pstnline}/ww1${EXTEN:-10}) but that matches everything. I'd hoped it would only match strings that had zero or more characters, followed by the 877 pattern. sean

USB HID Spec help (passing strings)
...omehow set the pointer for the iSerialNumber string index to the address of it in memory (in other words, load it from Flash into a global var, and then use that address when the iSerialNumber pointer is requested), but from how it is implemented, I couldn?t figure it out. I?ll look again. http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/01176A.pdf <http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/01176A.pdf> has code (Example 6) that allows you to specify a custom function to generate the string descriptor responses. It looks like it should be fairly simple to special-case the serial number...

USB HID Spec help (passing strings)
iSerialNumber does not need to be unique per device - it is not very many bits wide. I?m pretty sure I don?t *need* iSerialNumber?I mean, I could just remove it from the report descriptor altogether. But since it is available to give, and we are writing each board?s serial number into flash as part of the micro-controller programming (we aren?t talking a staggering number of boards per year

Problems with Microchips MPLAB IDE
Hello, I try to use Microchips MPLAB IDE 7.22 with wine 0.9.3 in contrary to the AppDB it doesn't work, it hangs during the first splash screen. When I try it with WINEDEBUG=warn+all the last message I get is: warn:gdi:GDI_GetObjPtr Invalid handle 0x62c I already registered all the .dlls as advised in the AppDB and also installed a gdi32.dll. Does anybody has an idea? Thanks, Dirk

how or where to put .dll and .inf from an installerless driv
As the title suggests, i have a app that i need to install. It is a usb driver for a pic+pro pic micro programmer. The control program that came with the programmer installed fine. however, the usb driver it needs didn't install with it. The manufacturer relies on windows "add hardware" function to install the driver. Is there any way around this? The disk has two folders on it,

Deprecating the experimental microMIPS64R6 backend
Hi all, I plan to deprecate the experimental microMIPS64R6 backend for the 5.0 release and remove it after the release. Currently there are no CPUs that use that particular sub-ISA which makes it difficult to justify the maintenance and parallel development effort. If there was a CPU design produced that did use microMIPS64R6, the backend could be restored from the archive. Any comments or
