I'm having problems with a new install of Asterisk (I had to reinstall because hard drive failed). I've used debian net install this time and for some reason WS FTP will not connect using SFTP (it keeps coming back with username and password fail) but when I use Putty to connect with the same password and username it works no problems. Any thoughts? Any other programs I can use for

...w is in an endless loop of trying to contact the FTP server, failing, then rebooting. When I watch the FTP server logs it looks like the phone starts a session, ends it, starts it, ends it until the phone reboots. It is annoying like nothing I can describe! I have tried Windows 2003 FTP service, WSFTP server and a few other Windows based FTP servers. Anybody have an idea as to how to get around this? I cannot get support on this phone (Polycom tells me to call the reseller and the reseller won't touch it for less than $95/hour). Thanks! ___________________________________________________...

...2. I had two hard crashes on my Suse 9.2 server in the last four days since I mounted two Windows server shares to the Linux box. Prior to that, machine has been stable for several months. Primary use is cvs server with ssh tunnelling pserver from PuTTY. Crash 1: I connected in from home using WSFTP Pro 9.01 in FTP/SSH mode to download a Windows directory tree mounted to the Suse server via smbmount. After transfer was successfully completed, Linux went down hard as I tried to start another transfer. I repeated process using direct a LAN connection with the same result. The "messages...
