Using dovecot with existing mbox hieararchy - possible?
I currently use mutt to read my E-Mail on a machine which runs a postfix server to receive mail by SMTP. Mail is actually delivered to the final mbox mailboxes by a custom filtering script writtin in Python. Will dovecot happily serve mail from the existing hierarchy (obviously if I configure it right) so that I can connect using IMAP to my server machine to read mail? The mbox files are all under ~/Mail with several levels of directories in some trees. Does dovecot need any sort of noti...

...t;*") One additional point, to wrap the names of the elements of recursive objects, I have used double brackets [[]] to distinguish between a SEXP inside the SEXPR (this also used for attributes) and single brackects for generic vectors. For pairlist, I also use single brackets because it is writtin in the Manual that they are converted in generic vector of type pairlist when accessed from R. ...not a NT admin but I maintain all Win95/98 NT2000 machines on my network. Origionally I called myself a windows programmer and when choosing a OS for our fileserver (2 years ago we didn't had one). I did choose for .....Linux :-). I booght this book: Unix Unleashed. The Comprehensive Soultion. writtin by Robin Burk I bought it for $15.00 when I was in the USA two years go. It's around 1600 pages!! This book helped me a lot of getting started and still is. (book has better memory...) Also Buy/Download the Samba manual for O'reighly. After digging into that book Unix will be a lot simpele...
