[LLVMdev] Name of Function's original module during link-time optimization
...o? Basically, I'm working on an aspect weaver (next version of http:// users.ugent.be/~badams/aspicere/) where the weaving functionality is performed at link-time by some LLVM passes I'm writing. As advice frequently needs join point-specific context information like the name of the woven advice, of the current method, of the current compilation unit, ... I provide this info by storing it in an LLVM struct passed at run-time to the advice (which has been transformed into a Function earlier). That's why I need to know the name of the module to which a Function originally...

btrfsprogs: cases of snapshot failures
...kernel is 3.4.4 with the too-overloaded "0.19" version of btrfsprogs. 2. Subvolume directories are somewhat special, as you may know. Only `btrfs sub create/snap` creates them, and they cannot be rmdird. # btrfs sub list . Custom Binary Format Challenges
Hello, I hope you are all doing well and thanks in advance. I need to program a transformation of a set of llvm bitcode to have some various techniques woven in. In particular, I need to resolve a given computed target address to one of several in the same way that the function of a dynamic library is resolved, but I need this resolution to happen in the binary target of my choice where I tell it to. It's basically exactly the same facility as when...

[LLVMdev] Programmatic compilation of C++ file into bitcode
...for further processing and analysis. So my goal is to do essentially what llvmc does, but programmatically by invoking the LLVM API directly. I thought I could use lib/CompilerDriver/Main.cpp as a guide, but after studying the code and associated docs, I'm stumped. Much of the logic is woven through TableGen'd drivers, so I can't even figure out how the command line options are fed into the LLVM API. Any suggestions? Thanks, Trevor

Rocky linux 9 - Samba AD
...icy, and now they're in the "Code Ready Builder" channel or even in EPEL. It also has gotten weird for Samba 4.18, which has dependencies on updated libldb and other Samba repository published libraries. Building and installing RPMs for those updates would conflict with sssd, which is woven pretty deep into current RHEL releases. But Samba can be built with its own internal libraries. My tools also use the Heimdal kerberos published with Samba, rather than the experimental support for MIT Kerberos enabled in RHEL published Samba packages. And because I'm like that, I created an &...

Assigning empty symbol to variable.
When a variable is assigned the empty symbol, looking up the variable results in an error message that looks like a function call: > foo <- as.list(lm)$data > ls() [1] "foo" > foo Error: argument "foo" is missing, with no default > get("foo") Error in get("foo") : argument "foo" is missing, with no default > rm("foo")

How do I best setup data for Story Runner?
Just started looking at the Story Runner integration, and am converting a few Rails integration tests to get a feel for it. My integration tests relied on fixtures, and since my models have a significant amount of validation (and hence need valid data unless I save without validation), this has made setup easy. With stories however, I''m wondering what the recommended approach is.
