activeldap and migrations
Stupid activeldap is messing with my mind ;-)
rails (3.1.1
activeldap (3.1.0)
rubygems-update (1.4.2)
I have activerecord (database.yml/postgresql) and activeldap (ldap.yml) as configured sources for my models.
I want to add some more things to my models but activeldap is killing my attempts to create migrations...

Help: Ruby Newbie Trying to Install on OSX 10.7.3
I entered in "rails" from the terminal prompt. Here is what I
got...... any help is appreciated

Rails is not currently installed on this system. To get the latest
version, simply type:
$ sudo gem install rails
You can then rerun your "rails" command.

I am trying to supplement and ultimately provide a patch for ''foreman'' which is an adjunct to puppet.
Essentially, there is a Hosts class which belongs_to Hostgroup and Hostgroup class has a column called ''ancestry'' which is actually a Hostgroup (probably what is referred to as STI but I am not sure) and thus within Foreman, nesting Hostgroups is not uncommon.

Jquery Modal Dialog with Jquery DatePicker field strange behavior
Hi people.
I need your help here, please.
I have a rails 3.0.9 app, and I''m using Ajax to save some records to
the database. To achieve this, I use a jquery modal form, but one of
the fields is a datepicker, and if I click on it to display the
calendar it doesn''t work.
The thing is, I press submit without fill all the fields, so, my
custom validations were shown, telling me

kill webrick process on OSX Lion {localhost:3000}
Hi Folks,
I have a simple question
When I have to stop the webrick server on my OSX Lion I use the follow
keyboard button:
Ctrl + Z
but after that I launch the command: "ps"
the webrick server is always active I have to kill the process with:
kill -9 [ID PROCESS]
exist a command to kill instantly the webrick server?

Can't find the PostgreSQL client library (libpq)
When i try it start my ruby server i get a error that looks like
rails server Could not find pg-0.12.2 in any of the sources
Run `bundle install` to install missing gems.
I dont know what to do
