Alec Saunders post about Mashable Telco's
...ry to make calls I wont continually
be hitting voicemails (www.iotum.com <http://www.iotum.com/> ) but I
still think it is missing 'pieces' for widespread adoption.
Where are the really interesting asterisk applications for hosted
ITSP's?
Can anyone on this list name a Gee Wizz application they cant live
without? (or are we still just coding ex-girlfriend routines?)

Panic: file mail-storage.c: line 834 (mailbox_verify_name): assertion failed
Hello List!
I've encountered an error after upgrading my system and dovecot. I guess it's probably a result of a configuration problem, however after quite some tinkering with configuration I am still missing the source of the problem.

dom movement methods, unattached objects
Hey guys
I have a bunch of element fragments (ie this might be a div, with children
of an image, another div) etc which aren''t attached to the document yet..
and can''t seem to call the dom manipulation methods on them:
down(''img.icon'') returns undefined but if I look at the innerHTML of the
element, there is clearly an image there with that class.
Is this is

I have the following javascript being called on my site and I am

toying with permissions and ownership but I can''t seem to cook up the right
formula and I don''t know if Rails offers some config option that I''m unaware

Samba transfer rate slower than ftp

Windows Server 2008, and reading from a share on it gives a nice 100MB/s.
So why is the samba share so 'slow' compared to ftp or the windows server ?
Here is the smb.conf (samba version is 3.2.5)

pam and sasl2-sample-server failure
I'm setting up a postfix server using "The Book of Postfix". In ch 15
there is a section on testing saslauthd which I can't get to work. I
can get it to work using shadow password authentication, but it fails
on pam. I don't kow squat about troubleshooting pam. Any PAM wizzes
out there that can help? I saw a unrelated post talking about
something needing to be in the pam sasl group. Had no idea what that
meant. sasl ins't a user, or group.
I setup and try
saslauthd -m /var/run/saslauthd -a pam -d
sasl2-sample-server -s rcmd -p 8000

So it seems Samba tries to authenticate the user whereas it's a 'guest

In the meantime, XP clients have no problem connecting.

Multiple form weirdness in IE6
I am having an issue where I have multiple forms on a page. The first
form has a couple of hidden inputs. The second form has all the
visible controls including three buttons. Each of these buttons has a
behaviour attached to it (From Ben Nolan''s Behaviour.js) based on its
id. The code for the first button is something like this (I am also
using prototype.js):

Compiz - many people like the wizz bang flashy effects of compiz if you would like those here is what you need to do. Here we go again open a terminal and su to root. First command
yum install compiz
Now you are going to have to add more things to your xorg.conf file. So favorite text editor time again
vim /etc/X11/xorg...
