Dear all, we have been using samba as PDC with ldap for over a year without any problems. Now we are trying to switch to a another operating system version and another samba version and have big problems with our windows clients (NT, 2000 and XP). Some have problems logging on to the domain (error C000019B), others give the net helpmsg 3678 (problems saving profile) and/or the netlogon script

Hi, I need to know the IP address of the DHCP/NFS server while in an initrd. PXELINUX does not seem to supply any networking info to the kernel (which would be passed into the environment of the init process). How could I achieve this? ...than 3.0.20 it was possible to use smbctx->workgroup after the context was initialized. Since 3.0.15pre2 or so its always "WORKGROUP". Am I missing something?
