...I don't know, what could be the problem. I upgraded Dovecot from 1.2.13 to 1.2.14 to solving the problem, but ... no success. Our LDAP Server is 2.4.23 and works for our network without any problems. If I try to use ldapsearch from the Dovecot host, while I see the messages, ldapsearch works withouch any timeout. I enabled caching for auth too, but the problem still exists.
