network mapping software
Hi all, I'm looking for network mapping software that would walk the local subnet and using snmp/cdp/nmap & friends produce a picture of network connections for documentation purposes. I've seen some for wintendo, but haven't found any decent for linux and CentOS specifically. Something like cheops-ng.sf.net would fill my needs, but before I start a fight with 5+ years old code to get it compiled, I'd like to hear what you guys are using. -- Jure Pe?ar http://jure.pecar.org http://f5j.eu

My macro is flawed?

Any help is greatly appreciated until I move to IPSec... unless there is a better VPN than IPSec that works with wintendo. Cannot send_file then delete it
My application accepts a form to create multiple large(100''s of MB) temporary files and then zip''s them up to send off to a user. I have the files constructed, and the zipping working. The problem is that if I use send_file to send the zip off to the user, I cannot delete the file afterwards as it seems send_file forks off another process and deletes the file before the

Samba PDC on FreeBSD problem?
Problem: Samba running as a PDC on a FreeBSD, the clients can connect without computer accounts and browse the shares in the domain. Should the PDC allow that? As far as i have understood the PDC should refuse since the computer does not have a account in the domain regardless that the user have a user account? Can it somehow be that i have named the computers as the users, user bob with
