I'm working on a samba server on a DG/UX (that's Data General, not Digital) system. We have 95A, 95B, 98 and NT clients all printing to the printers fine. The security is share and all the printers are setup properly and printing from clients using these versions of windows. All machines are network-wise, setup the same. Linux 2.2.13 Intel samba-2.0.7pre2 will Sig11 and die on me right after processing NetBIOS name = FOO in smb.conf. Not always, but sometimes I have to start smbd 2 or 3 times. It always fails there. I happily downloaded the official beta4 winamp plugin as well as Mattew's versions with VCE interated and with/without the dialog. When I installed it winamp (v2.72) didn't recognize it (no vorbis plugin listed in the config, doesn't play ogg files) - same for all of them.
