Loop length supported by FXS module on Wildcat TDM400 card
Does anyone know (appoximately) the max loop length that the FXS module on a
Wildcat TDM400 card will drive an analog phone(over standard - say cat3 or
26 gage twisted-pair wire). It's clearly not going to be 18kft, but perhaps
4000 feet?
Thanks

3DLabs Wildcat
Hi all,
Has anybody managed to make this board: 3DLabs Wildcat III 6210
work under CentOS 4/Xorg ? I see on their website they had support
for it until RHEL3 but no more support for RHEL4...
I tried the 'glint' driver but it does not support this particular
chipset. I tried the 'vesa' mode and I could get a 640x480 @ 60Hz
but it's a little...

Connecting to an Ericsson AXT121 with a Digium Wildcat E100 card
Dear Telcotype Braniacs,
I have tried doing a google search to find out what this switch looks like, what the physical interface is, but havn't been successful. I am quite new to the ISDN world so I'm not sure what to expect when I see this switch. Does anyone have any experience connecting to this switch? The following is basically all I have been given for info:

OT - RE: Coffee Break...
Your mention of the good ole' days of fidomail w/o spam got me digging for
my Wildcat install disks. I found them both. Now I realize I got rid of my
5.25 inch drive in 1991.
Hrmph.
- btw I love the lyrics. :)

fxo cards
Hi all,
Is there any alternative hardware components for multi port FXO cards, other
than Single and E1 or T1 level? For example 4 or 8 port FXO card is ideal.
Also the price matters.
Thanks!

Asterisk with Dialplan or TrixBox for this case?
...I didn't enable or
have in the dial plan the first time around and wondering if you would
recommend doing it through configs again or if one of the prepackaged
solutions would more easily support these needs. One that caught my
eye was TrixBox but I'd be open to other suggestions.
I have a Wildcat TDM400 (IIRC) with 2 FXS and 2 FXO ports. Currently
I'm terminating a POTS line and a VoicePulse VOIP line (via the
supplied adapter) into the FXS ports (forgive me if I confused the
FXO/FXS it gets me every time.)
I have the dialplan set up to ring all extensions when either incoming

mean relative differences from all.equal() (PR#9276)
Full_Name: Brad Christoffersen
Version: 2.3.1
OS: Windows XP
Submission from: (NULL) (128.196.193.132)
Why is the difference between two numbers so different from the "mean relative
difference" output from the all.equal() function? Is this an artifact of the
way R stores numerics? I could not find this problem as I searched through the
submitted bugs. But I am brand new to R so I

GLMM: measure for significance of random variable?
Hi,
I have three questions concerning GLMMs.
First, I ' m looking for a measure for the significance of the random variable in a glmm.
I'm fitting a glmm (lmer) to telemetry-locations of 12 wildcat-individuals against random locations (binomial response). The individual is the random variable. Now I want to know, if the individual ("TIER") has a significant effect on the model outcome. Does such a measure exist in R?
My second question is, if there is a "predict"-function...

Grandstream BT102 Busy signal on hangup
...ith Asterisk (Current CVS Stable dated: Asterisk CVS-v1-0-11/23/04).
I've purchased 2 GS BT102 SIP phones. Both have been upgraded to firmware 1.0.5.18. I've also have installed on my desktop and laptop, X-Lite.
I've been using these to learn how to setup Asterisk. I've got a Wildcat X100P on order and will be here next week.
My problem seems to be with the BT102s. I can't seem to get them to hangup when issued a Hangup().
Asterisk's logs show it's has hung up, but I get a busy signal on the phones themselves.
This was also happening under firmware 1.0.5.16....
