Netware CIFS nlm - linux samba
Dear Gurus, We're having bizarre problems/behaviour. Admittedly we have an unusual set-up: - users on linux desktops (RedHat/KDE) mounting files over SMB using samba-2.2.5-10 -client and -common rpms. - files are on a SAN, clustered behind 2 netware servers (6.5), wihch run the cifs.nlm (netware guy has gone home - can't tell you the version just now) Files are spontaneously changing modification timestamps - anywhere between about 1930 and 2040 (AD, not hours). Or more likely *presenting* those timestamps most of the time, though now and then the correct...

library(tcltk) v. SIGPIPE BUG (?!?)
Hi R-devel, tcltk devel, and sqldf devel, The transcript below shows how loading the tcl/tk library in under R causes subprocesses to ignore SIGPIPE. I am including the developer of the (wonderful) sqldf package since it requires tcltk and you might like to make this dependence optional to the user (at least until this is fixed in tcltk). Am I mistaken in calling this a 'bug'? Any

Convert HVM to PV
Hi Everyone, To convert an HVM install to PV, is it just as simple as creating a new config file, and use the "kernel" and "initrd" parameters to boot from a XEN kernel stored in the Dom0, and use the (ex) HVM''s disk image in the "disk" parameter? Or is there something else I am missing? Thanks _______________________________________________ Xen-users

Release for CentOS Linux 6.7 i386 and x86_64
...as an ISO format ( either on cd or usb ). While other forms of installs ( eg. pxe delivered ) might work from the minimal ISO, they are neither tested not supported. The only format where we support the entire set of install options and delivery mechanisms is via the complete CentOS Linux 6.7 tree, wihch can also be created by consolidating all content from DVD1 and DVD2. We no longer produce CD size images for the entire CentOS Linux 6 distribution, however the minimal install and netinstall iso images are small enough to fit on all CD grade media. Torrent files for the DVD's are available a...

Arndale: domU not booting
Dear all, I followed the steps described in the wiki in order to get an Arnadle board running Xen, but I''m having trouble in starting a domU. Let me describe you the steps I followed. Sorry for such a long mail, but I think that a verbose description is necessary so you can point me what I''m doing wrong. I couldn''t boot properly over the network. This is why I
