Configuring cisco 7940
I've just managed to get hold of a cisco 7940, which looks nice but I'm
unable to make it actually do anthing...!
All the online manuals say things like "see your network administrator"
which isn't a whole lot of use.
First thing I think I need to do is work out how to set the TFTP server
IP as it's using the wrong one (it's ignoring the setting in the DHCP
server).

Last callers script?
Hi,
Is there some script which can be called from a * extension to
playback the recent incoming
callers on a particular PSTN line?
In the UK 1471 is a BT number which plays back the most recent callers
number, it also
gives you the option to call this number back (now charging you for
this service too!).
Is there anything similar in asterisk-land?
thanks

Cisco 7960 SIP Firmware
Can someone point me in a direction where I can acquire the Cisco 7960
SIP firmware? I just purchased two phones of ebay, but they are both in
Call Manager mode.
Thanks,
Marcus

Caller ID info ZAP --> SIP??
Hi everyone,
I've been toying with * for quite some time now. I've got two Cisco
7940's with the SIP firmware playing nice with *. I can also make
outbound calls via IAXTel (toll-free calls only) and all other calls I
have routed out my X100P-clone adapter.
Here's my question... Is there a way to capture the inbound callerid from
my phone line (coming in on the X100P) and have

Sep 21 08:57:54 belle fsck: /dev/ad4s1d: UNEXPECTED SOFT UPDATE INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
Ok, so I ran fsck manually (even with -y), but yet it refuses to clear/fix
whatever to the questions posed as fsck runs. What does this all mean?
Thanks,
