New UPS Support: Eaton 5S 1000
Hi Charles,
Thank you for sticking with me through this!
Well, whaddya know, when run with -DDDDD it works! upsc consistently
returns data. Maybe it's a timing thing, or a select affected by I/O or
something tricky like that. Nonetheless, I ran it, hit upsc eaton multiple
times, collected the output and attached it. If this doesn't give you what
you need, I ca...

QueryParser doesn''t use StandardAnalyzer correctly?
I am having a bit of a problem with my search queries being parsed
correctly it seems, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.
I have written an index using StandardAnalyzer for analysis. I want to
search that index by passing my user query through a QueryParser
instance which is also using a StandardAnalyzer. However the resultant
query does not seem to be a valid term query and

weird apache issue
...And repeat as necessary until you can achieve this:
[root at beta:~] #pgrep httpd
[root at beta:~] #
It's a real pain with it being the way it is, because this makes it
impossible for puppet to manage this service. I'm mainly just tired of
seeing errors in the reports about this! :)
So whaddya think? Have you ever seen this problem before and do you know
how to solve this issue?
Thanks,
Tim

Any way to add to data frame saved as .rData file?
Hi all,
I've got a script that generates a few moderate-size data frames, and then
puts them together into one big data frame at the end in order to write that
data frame to disk, so that it may be re-opened later on...
I'm trying to trim down memory requirements in this script, so I was
wondering if there was any way to append to a data frame already saved on
disk (just like

Keyword arguments?
....position = Point.new(300,300)
f.size = Size.new(300,150)
f.style = "whatever"
}
This is easier to read. I also think you''re less
likely to make a mistake with this style of coding,
e.g. you won''t mix up size and position in this
example.
Whaddya think?

Dan

Security related bug/issue ... or mis-configuration?
Morning...
Attached are two files. The first (smb.session) shows one user
connecting to two different shares on a remote server using *no*
password...
The second is the smb.conf file found on that remote server,
running Solaris 2.6, and Samba 2.0.3 ...
I'm *really* hoping that its something that we're overlooking as
far as configuration is concerned...or else there is one helluva

No, that search model is just a plain class that backs your search form.

Cookie session handling?
...camping/session/cookie.rb
(or file.rb) file. That way users could include the type of session
handling they want via require + include.
require ''camping/session/cookie''
module MyCamp
include Camping::Session::Cookie # or File, or whatever
end
Or something along those lines. Whaddya think?

Sorry, I'll gzip/attach next time.
I tried pollonly and made sure no processes were hanging out. While
everything comes up and seems to run happy, I still get log messages every
couple of seconds, and "upsc eaton" gives me one of two messages:
Error: Driver not connected
ups.status: WAIT
Is this actually functional? Usually I don't consider NUT operational until
upsc works

Macintosh support (again)
In order to compile the latest Vorbis library on the Macintosh, the
change appended to this message needs to be made to os_types.h.in.
Then, anyone who wants to actually build it must first copy
os_types.h.in to os_types.h by hand, since MacOS does not include a
command line and thus cannot run configure.
It really bugs me that the whole "platforms which don't support
