assembly code for array iteration generated by llvm is much slower than gcc
...ment from the index.
My question is that if there's an option of llvm, to let it iterate array by pointer. Or it’s a bug of llvm not resolved now ?
Test C code:
Int func(int w1, int w2, int *b, int *c) {
Int wstart = 0;
Int i = 0;
Int j = 0;
Int sum = 0;
In wend = 0;
Int dst_idx = 0;
Int dst_idx2 = 0;
for (I = 0; I < w2; i++) {
wstart = i * w1;
wend = i / w1;
sum = c[wstart];
for (j = wstart + 1; j < wend; j++) {
sum += c[j * w2];
sum += c[j * w1];

Limiting bandwidth to around max. 8k per second - possible? UPDATE
...d flawless with Intel Indeo :-)
We are currently playing around with the bandwidth in the "encoded
registry string", and the string we use right now is
"50 5 30 0 1 1 60 30 300 2 2 "
The first number is meant to be the target b nadwidth, right? I tried it
with 80, then wend down and down.
Till now, we have the problem that we are falling behind. Substantially.
Nothing seems to be able to change this. Now, for a short moment that is
not a problem - we run a .3 second delay. But we are CONSTANTLY
generating WAY too much data.
Any hint here? Might be the first big size...

a VM does not get dhcp
hi everybody
I'm looking at my setup and got stuck
I have a box with two NICs on the same subnet, and another
box similar, also two NICs on one subnet, all four NICs are
on the same subnet.
Now, that second box has also a virtual NIC (libvirtd's
bridge route mode) and VMs guests are using it, traffic to
that virtual net is routed via 1st real NIC. This second box

Re: a VM does not get dhcp
...u explicitly write about
subnets, it sounds like you only have one, but if you don't have two
subnets, why do you need a DHCP relay? SO. Assuming you have two
subnets:
* It sounds as if your DHCP request is generating an ACK.
* I'm 99% sure your ACK has to traverse the DHCP helper and wend its way
back to the originating host.
So I'd focus on the DHCP relay, to be sure that the ACK with lease info
is both arriving at it, and then being unicast to the MAC. tcpdump on
respective interfaces should do the trick (something like "tcpdump -i

Summing daily values by weekday and weekend

Hi, all

myvalues<-runif(43,0,1)

this also means it is easy to port my model to any language.
i've ported it myself to perl and python, and i am a stranger
to both of them. (until a month ago, i'd never used python.)
i use splits and joins, string arrays, substrings, and simple
loops like if-then and while-wend... and that's all. really...
so if a person understands basic or perl or python, i think
they can port my code to any another language in one hour.
or, if they work directly from my pseudocode, three hours...
so i'm puzzled why, for markdown, it seems _so_difficult_.
