ps commandline option woes (-v weired formatting, more power for -m)
Two issues concerning ps commandline options. 1) -v option, cosmetic ! currently the formatting is very unsexy, makes this option rather unusable, you can't easy follow the columns 2) -m option doesn't have precedence over other options forcing the output to be memory sorted. i.e. -u option implies -r (-r = sort by current cpu usage) Now I find the output format of -u very

Weir long distance behaviour...
Hi all, I have taken my family in hostage and setup an asterisk environment at home... I am using a x100p fxo card, a Iaxy and X-ten softphones. Works ok with local calls. There is a strange behavior, when we do long distance calls, it keeps ringing on our end, remote callee answers the call but hear nothing. It is great for one thing, they called us back and we save the long distance fees

why mtd root device number is __makedev(0,254)
Hi, I'm wondering when /proc/cmdline has "root=/dev/mtdblockX", name_to_dev_t_real will return __makedev(0,254) for root device's device number which is weired. I think we need to create the device on the fly from information in sysfs. Maybe I have mistaken something. Is there any clue? -- Regards, Shizheng -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

After uninstalling and reinstalling, no Wine folders
Originally installed Wine [9.33] from the Ubuntu repository. After adding the WineHQ repository, I was upgraded to 9.49. Since it was an upgrade, the folders installed by 9.33 were retained in place of those 9.49 would have installed if it were the first installation. I decided to make my installation more "up-to-date" by uninstalling and reinstalling. I've uninstalled and
