Net install from behind webproxy
I am behind a webproxy and am wondering if I can pass the webproxy's details
to the boot time kernel so that I can install centos 5.1 from the net boot
CD I have downloaded!?
Thanks

Weird hanging problem with rsync
...nc versions 2.3 on debian potato and 2.5.5 (and 2.5.6 backported)
on debian 3.0. It even happens with to 2.5.6 versions combined and linked
directly without any proxy in between. rsync runs as rsync daemon on the
client machines and are pulled by the central backup system.
When I used it through a webproxy, the webproxy timeouted on those
situations and aborted the transfer (actually aborted the CONNECT session).
So I changed over to a directly routed solution, but now the command just
sits there and waits. Hint's would be highly appreciated, as currently our

TCP port forwarding troubles?
Has anyone heavily exercised the TCP connection forwarding features in
openssh?

Then I set up Netscape on my local machine to use 127.0.0.1:3128 as a
proxy server. Needless to say, this exercises the TCP connection
forwarding feature quite heavily. This

Rails 3.2: invalid %-encoding (100%)
I started getting exception notifications recently from the server
just about the time I upgraded to Rails 3.2. I don''t know if that is a
coincidence or not. Evidently some robot is hitting my site with:
mydomain.com?iframe=true&width=100%&height=100%
and that is throwing an exception.
I have two questions:
1) First, just out of curiosity, who puts
