smb_panic + Backtrace
Hi all After running samba 3.0.0 for a couple of days I get messages like this in my logs which look a bit suspicious :-) to me. Anyone knows what this is all about? The result ist that copy jobs etc. are just signing off. Sorry for not entering this in the bugzilla thing. I am not too familiar using it. The samba version is 3.0.0 running against ldap 2.1.22 Here the globals from my smb.conf

still very slow (MS Word and Excel only)

strange phenomenon Word and Excel
Hi there, Just installed Samba 2.0.7 and it works without a hitch. Almost!!!!!!!!!!!! The weird thing is that when I click on a MS Excel or Word file in the NT explorer the application starts and opens the file located on the Samba box. The thing is it takes about 20 secs or more for even a very small file (50K) before it is opened. If I close the file once it was opened and click on another
