Maintaing Quotas
We have our user set up with quotas on RedHat Linux server(5.1). It works under the normal linux enviroment. BUT when we use SAMBA to get the user's home directory mapped to drive letter on a WINNTmachine (4 with SP 3) it doesn't maintain the quota. After using all the allocted space user can still copy files to that drive which is mapped for user's home directory. Does anybody else

how to increase the limit for max.print in R
Hi All, I am using DNAcopy package in R for copy number analysis of 500K chip. The final output which I get from DNA copy is too big to be printed in a file. So I am getting an error as "reached getOption("max.print") -- omitted 475569 rows " Can somebody please provide me the pointers with how to increase the limit for max.print . Hi I get this mailing-list as a digest (as everyone does, i guess). This is quite inconvinient for answering single questions.. I every digest there is a message with Subject: Re: Samba dingest <NR>... This makes it hard to keep track about whath message the replay is ment for. ICMP
After the recent attacks on the major servers on the web my ISP has decided to stop all ICMP messages from his ISP. I have red the RFCs and it seems that he cant do that... As a result pings and traceroutes will not work. I need a friendly person out there to tell me a way to break the news to him that he has to allow ICMP packets through his network... any suggestions would be helpfull [mod:
