Now i am back to the console. The installation window is still there and it is saying "System wir ?berpr?ft, Bitte warten..." (which means something like: Checking system, please wait...). And now it hangs there since 20mins. What is my debug way from here? Do you need more info? Maybe the file list of the CD? Anything? Thanks, Mario

Just a few quick questions: If I make changes to smb.conf, do I need to restart the SMB and NMB services, or is it like Vixie Cron, where it'll re-read the file and adapt changes every minute? Why do I have multiple NMB instances running, but only one SMB? Thanks for the help! Aton

Hi, when I try to connect with a Windows XP Professional workstation to my domain (My Computer->Computer Name ...), I keep getting the error message "A domain controller for the domain ... could not be contacted". I am running on CentOS 5 distribution without adding any updates from CentOS. I am using the lustre 1.6.4.1 kernel and software. I have two NICs that run though different switches. Hi I want my lustre do such things during OST failed: if some file has stripe data on th failed OST, any operation on the file will return IO error without blocking, and also at this moment I can create and read/write new file or read/write files which have no stripe data on the failed OST without blocking.
