Will there be a new release soon?
Hi,
Is there going to be a 1.5.1 release anytime soon? Seems like there have
been enough changes in SVN to warrant one and I prefer to use only
"released" code in production. It gives me warmer, fuzzier feelings than
using svn/trunk. :)
Regards,
Dan

unregister_xenbus_watch() handling of xenwatch_mutex
2.6.23 acquires the mutex before canceling pending events, whereas
linux-2.6.18-xen acquires and releases the mutex back-to-back after
doing the cancellation. It would seem to me that the former method is
more robust, but otoh I''m wondering why this change then wasn''t also
made in the 2.6.18 tree.
Thanks, Jan

I would like a means of determining whether or not a given window will

Patch to tighten down the permissions and ownership in configuration.rb
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
Attached is a patch which attempts to enforce ''proper'' permissions of
all files controlled directly by the puppet processes.
All owners and groups are explicitly set as are all permissions.
The idea is that the Puppet process configuration files should be
relatively tamper resistant and at least throw a warning that the

great support from NUT (green status across the board).
I've been rather disappointed.
* It runs rather hot, ~25F more (128F on the side).
* Lack of battery info (runtime, charge capacity)
* Can't disable alarm permanently
* And more
I know line-interactive units run warmer than standby so I use the RS
500 units I have for comparison.
Eaton's Intelligent power protector simply reports the battery as
"charging", but it never finishes. And it reported the charge capacity
as 13% and it was stuck at that. Also no runtime.
Eaton replaced the unit. The re...

A1->A2 + C->D + E->B vs A1->B + C->A2 + A2->A
Phase 2: Order traces.
First we compute the frequency of a trace by finding the max frequency of
any of
its blocks.
Then we attempt to place the traces topologically. When a trace cannot be
placed
topologically, we prefer warmer traces first.
Questions and comments welcome.

I'm avoiding Eaton/Powerware because the lack of usbhid support, the
bcmxcp driver doesn't report much, but I have heard that someone is
working on it. Also a PW5110 500 (to replace a APC RS 500) runs much
warmer than I would like. I'm used to the APC RS line-interactive units
and they don't get nearly as hot.
Otherwise, the Eaton/MGE UPS's have been great, a 5PX and an Evolution.
The 5PX is kind of a cross, it has usbhid support and Powerware's better
battery management feature.

I wanted to suggest some rating for functionality. I got the UPS available

small homebrew pbx
Hello all,
I'm new here and I'm interested in building a small PBX with asterisk at
home. I have one single PSTN line and ethernet cabling in place. I
already have fairly decent PC that I can use (AMD FX 8350 16GB of RAM
and RAID 10 SATA disks). I make and receive 10 calls a day on average. I
want 4 IP phones connected to the ethernet network. When there is a
incoming call, all

Icecast "dropping" YP updates
Ok, we're getting warmer.. but not there yet.
Icecast is no longer eating infinite CPU, no longer gobbling memory..
But we still got a problem. First, Icecast is still re-touching too
frequently (or prehaps several times in a row) on the same streams:

[PATCH] Modpost section mismatch fix
[Sorry if duplicate, one earlier was corrupt]
Hi,
I got section mismatches reported by modpost in latest build. It got
reported for xen_register_pirq and xen_unplug_emulated_devices
functions. xen_register_pirq makes reference to
acpi_sci_override_gsi in init.data section; marking
xen_register_pirq with __init is not feasible since calls are made

RColorBrewer Package Color index
Hi everyone,
Can anyone kindly help me with the interpretation of colors in the
RColorBrewer Package (brewer.pal) ?
For example, in brewer.pal command, when picking up the "RdBu" palette,
does red means larger or smaller value?
I am new to this fantastic program, and I have searched up and down, no
clue :( I will really appreciate your time if you can kindly give me a
hand.
