Fwd: Call Wainting dysfunctions
I am trying to implement a Centralized Call Waiting System. I have red some document about asterisk group features to manage group and category of a sip channel. I have done a lot of test about it but always it doesn't work correctly if I transfer the call. This is the macro code I use for inbound calls. [macro-test] ; ${ARG1} - technology something like SIP ; ${ARG2} - resource.

Missing packages in centos8 mirrors or do I miss something?
...and centos-release-stream. Do I miss something or is it a matter of time due to mirro syncs? I misse btrfs packages, perl-Tk packages, docbook packages and many more that I can find on https://koji.mbox.centos.org/koji/builds Where am I wrong? PS: I?m running CentOS-8 in docker (roboxes/centos8 wainting for official centos:8 container). (I think that my issue is not related to the container though as I can?t find packages on mirror repos. -- Olivier LAHAYE

Handling DTMF for number 4
Dear all, I have Asterisk 1.4.23 implemented with an IVR wainting for mobile phone calls coming from a GSM Gateway. All the components are set up in DTMFMODE = RFC2238, and so when the caller from mobile touches the IP phone LAN extension, the call is succesfully established. Everything is OK except for the DTMF for number 4, because if the caller from mobile di...

Bug#508139: HVM guests can't be used because there is no /usr/lib/xen folder
...R2, and I spent a long time figuring out that there is no /usr/lib/xen folder by default, and this is where Xen is searching for it's file when using HVM, VNC and all. Doing a simple symlink with ln -s /usr/lib/xen-3.2.1 /usr/lib/xen made it working, if it's not present, the VM is stuck and wainting for whatever. The system MUST be usable as-is, or at least, some things shall be explained somewhere to warn the user about it. I had a look into the README.Debian, and nothing seemed to talk about this problem. Maybe the way to fix would be to do the following in your postinst: if [ -e /usr/lib...

Custom kernel RPM/SRPM
Hi, I've built customs kernels from the SRPMs with the following: rpmbuild -bp --target=i686 /path/to/spec cd /usr/src ln -s /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-x.y.z/linux-x.y.z linux cd linux make oldconfig make menuconfig make all make modules make modules_install And it works just fine. The problem now is that I think installing that way isn't

...I'trying to use a SCSI-CD Sony CDU415. I use the following ID configuration: 0 - IBM DDYS-T18350N 1 - IBM DDYS-T09170N 5 - HP Surestore 24e 6 - Sony CDU415 7 - aic7890 With IDs set that way the controller itself detects all hardware properly.
