NUT support for multi-OS environment
Hi All:
I am interested at looking at NUT to manage shutdown response to power
outages more efficiently.
Presently I have an APC SmartUPS 1500 which connects to a "server" using
a USB connection, from where I run a shutdown batch file for our server
environment.
Currently I have 3 boxes running XCP with a number of servers on them, a
XenServer box with a number of MS servers

I don't have any scsi-devices and I suppose it's a problem with my
drives settings.
Any suggestions?

I don't have a commit access to the SVN repository. Therefore I cannot
commit it myself. Should I better apply for getting a commiter access
or should I simply send you the final version of the patch?

OSX file creation problems
I am running a REHL 4.3 server with samba RPMs:
3.0.10-1.4e.9
When an os X client connects to our samba server it can copy files from
the server an overwrite other files that already exist. However when it
comes time to create a file, it fails, where this process works
correctly from a windows system. In addition, I can go to where the
volume is mounted on the os X (10.3.7) machine and copy

Is there a possibilty in R to calculate the sample size for evaluation of reference values? Especially reference values with a covariate age and a factor gender?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Automated Binning for building predictive models
...ch group (approx. 5%).
Is there a method in R available which allows for an automated grouping/binning for that purpose? I know that e.g. SPSS has such a feature. I think such a feature is helpful in the modeling process.

I have tried to find this error message on the samba web site but I have not

What happened to my shorewall? I can no longer reach apache
Hello,
Here is the problem, this is a server I have at home, which is running
gentoo. The other day I could not reach apache from the outside, so I
tried to fix it by restarting computer, upgrading apache, upgrading
shorewall, but nothing helped. I can reach apache if I do "shorewall
clear", but with it active it doesn''t work. Now what is most confusing is

As far as I understand it, it can also split in the interior of basic
blocks, because of pre-colored registers, otherwise it would not be
