Auth(default): add one userdb - what does this mean?
I got dovecot to start but then I had to reboot and now Im receiving errors:
Apr 27 19:48:18 wadesmart dovecot: auth(default): You'll need to add at
least one userdb
Im still following the steps from http://wiki.dovecot.org/BasicConfiguration

IE stopped working after update
04252006 0906 GMT-6
Apparently sometime in the last two weeks my Internet Explorer stopped
working. My son said one day a message popped up and said Updates
Available from Ubuntu so he did the update and he thought Wine was one
of them. Anyway, I have to have IE for a IE only site.
What can I do to figure out why it is not now starting?

authorizing users
Im trying to clarify if I understand correctly about authorizing users.
"The simplest login method is sending the user login info in plain
text and allowing access only to users that already have UNIX access
(ie. in /etc/passwd) to the machine dovecot is running on."

Authentication failure (password mismatch?)
I setup dovecot on my laptop to practice on.

I created the in this format:
user:{plain}pass:1000:1000::/home/user::userdb_mail=maildir:~/Maildir
for userdb passwd-file.

Updating Folders in Mail box
Im looking on the dovecot documentation about how to update the folder
structure.
I had some computer problems so I back up my mail and when I
reinstalled I got rid of a bunch of unused old mail. But now when I
open my mail client it still things all of those folders are still
there. Im looking for how to update the file on what is and isnt
there.

Little help with NUT on a Energizer UPS

Im a fairly new user to linux, Ubuntu specifically, and am trying to
understand this NUT. I have a Energizer HMOF600 that I used when I was
still on windows. I didnt even realize it wasnt working until the power
