Could not destroy domain, current job is remoteDispatchConnectGetAllDomainStats
Hello libvirt-users list,
We're catching the same bug since 3.4.0 version (3.3.0 works OK).
So, we have process that is permanently connected to libvirtd via socket
and it is collecting stats, listening to events and control the VPSes.
When we try to 'shutdown' a number of VPSes we often catch the bug. One of
VPSes sticks in 'in shutdown' state, no related 'qemu' process is present,
and there is the next error in the log:

[Bug 1674] New: ebtables causing packet loss

Assignee: pablo at netfilter.org
Reporter: ryder1ross at gmail.com
Hi,
Package version : ebtables 1.8.4 (nf_tables)
Kernel version : 4.18.0-425.13.1.el8_7.x86_64
OS version : AlmaLinux release 8.7 (Stone Smilodon)
I am using AlmaLinux 8 on a dedicated server and hosting VPSes using KVM.
Applying ebtables rules on those VPSes is causing packet loss issue.

Question: Do all puppetd run at the same time?
...er will get overtaxed during
those peek times.
Even if they do not all run at the same time can a randomness feature
be introduced (ie have an option to allow -+ seconds from the normal
internal?) for each puppetd?

I tried viewing your link, but it returns a 404 error. It also doesn't seem
to have a valid certificate. Could you send the correct link please?

Also, don't forget the option I gave you Ralph, where you can have access
to one of my VPSes. We can create a subdomain for free, but if you want
something like nhw.com, you'd have to register the domain name yourself,
which wouldn't cost too much money.... Then I can help configure it to
point to your page on my VPS. I'll host it all for free. You'll have

Using checkpassword to block ips?

My questions are as follows:
- Can the deny = yes be used with checkpassword?
- What am I doing wrong with the script? It should reject only the
connections that are in the RBL. It blocks all

Multitenant or Multiple virtual machines
Hi all,
We want to offer hosted PBX services to some of our clients (maybe
10-20) and were wondering if it makes sense to get a software package
capable of handling multiple virtual tenants or if we should just
create multiple virtual machines in our server each running a single-
tenant license of the software.
We have been researching virtual PBX software for asterisk for a
couple of

I want to contribute to the wiki
...CentOS Wiki as user ScottDowdle.
I'd like to update one page and add a new page... so when a AdminGroup user notices and has the time to do the deed, please allow me the following:
1) Update - http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/BrokenVserver
I would like to add an explanation on why some VPSes do not include yum. I'm a long time member of the OpenVZ community and know the reason.
2) New Page - In the HowTos -> Virtualization section - Installing and using OpenVZ with CentOS 5
Thanks in advance,

Disabling Firewall/iptables on CentOS 7??
I apologize if this has been asked and answered, but I googled and
attempted things for several hours today without success.
I have a freshly installed CentOS 7 system that I'd like to disable the
firewall and all iptables rules. Basically the equivalent of doing
iptables -F
In a nutshell I've tried the following commands, in many different ways
and orders, but when the system

NYC Puppet Meetup
Hi All,
We are wanting to having a Puppet Meetup in NYC on February 3th, 2009,
6:30 PM. Place to be determined. Baring that my wife doesn''t give
birth by then (which would prevent me from making it) how does this
sound to everyone else?
Brian G.,
Can you rally up the troops and also invite people from other groups?
Also let''s have some specific topics to discuss.

Westhost VPS opinions
I''m looking for a RoR VPS with mySQL, mongrel, apache, and possibly PHP.
Westhost has some really darn nice pricing for VPS. Anyone have any
opinions?
I''m looking at something that will scale with our needs. Not
necessarily the cheapest, but something with good value. However, we
are in a bootstap situation.
Thanks.

I tried from Texas, Miami, Virginia, and New York VPSes. Works fine.
Maybe try again, or check your local DNS?

Google's 8.8.8.8 DNS returns the following:
$ host gathman.org
gathman.org has address 70.184.247.44
gathman.org has IPv6 address 2001:470:8:809::1010
I'm getting a 404 using the IPv4 address. Is it possible that Lane's phon...
