Mount at boot - and a bug - where to report?

[LLVMdev] LLC fail without gccld optimization on spec2000 int benchmarks
Hi, In my experiments, I need to disable several linking optimizations. However, bzip2, vortex and eon failed if "-disable-opt" was passed to gccld. I tried the out-of-box llvm and the building process provided by llvm-test. The same problem was observed, when I specified EXTRA_LINKTIME_OPT_FLAGS = -disable-opt on Makefile.program and simplied typed "make" under llvm-test...

iir + Tyan S2460 + SMP problems
We're having problems with FreeBSD 5.4, 6.0, and 6.1 and an ICP Vortex GDT8546RZ 4 port SATA RAID card in a Tyan S2460 system with dual AMD Athlon MP 1600+ CPUs. We do not have any problems with this configuration under FreeBSD 4.11, and we have the same ICP cards in Tyan based Opterion system (S2882 and S4882) run with out problems under FreeBSD 5.4 and 6.1. We can...

Help with rgl
Hi, I don't know much about the RGL package, and I have read the documentation and tried some parameters, with no luck... I would like to generate a movie from a 3D object (code below), where the vortex A is closer to the observer, and then the object rotates and the B vortex gets closer. I would like to capture this movie to a file. By the way, I am not being able to insert unicode text with text3d. rgl 0.82, R 2.8.1, Windows Vista. Any help would be appreciated. Code follows: library(rgl) o...

IPFW disconnections and resets
Hi, I am using IPFW on FreeBSD 4.11 I am facing two problems: - SSH sessions timeout after a while - When I run "/sbin/ipfw -q -f flush" in the rules script all connection get reset (and I am thrown out of the box). Is this standard functioning of ipfw or do I need to change any configuration? Thanks, Siddhartha

Can anyone suggest a SCSI 3 card in either PCI-X or PCI-E x 4 for a Dell Poweredge 2900?
The only PCI-X card I have is an old ICP Vortex RAID controller and the Dell hangs with that installed (BIOS is disabled). It's only for a tape drive so performance isn't really an issue. thanks

But that's beside the point- I have had a perception that ttyv was for local/console logins, and that just

ipfw core dump
Hi, This is the first time I've come across this: pid 11415 (ipfw), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) The core dump landed in root's home directory in one of my jails. Has anyone seen this before? Should I be concerned? chkrootkit says nothing. (How trustworthy is its output? ;-) Thanks. Cheers. -- Ng Pheng Siong <ngps@netmemetic.com> http://firewall.rulemaker.net

interface negotiation questions (slightly off-topic)
Howdy: This is (at least slightly) off-topic, but I've seen more knowledgeable folks than I mention autonegotiation in this venue and, since I didn't get any response on the vortex-bugs mailing list, I thought I'd ask here (also, the interface in question supports samba so...). And there should be some good news for some folks too. If this is old news, sorry (I've been too busy to keep up with the samba list lately...) First off, if you're tired of messing with...
