Compiler OR Obfuscator for RoR applications?
Hi folks,
I''m a newbie in the Ruby land, The Ruby language and RoR looks really
great but I think in my situation there is a problem, we are an ISV
that sells web application and we don''t want our clients see our
source code, I searched the web but couldn''t find any way to compile
and\or obfuscate ruby code (in web (RoR)), is there such tool
available for the language?

infinite loop in make for src/unix (PR#2477)

While running initial 'make' everything went fine until src/unix. At which point
it kept entering and exiting src/unix without doing anything. I fixed the
problem
by deleting the dependencies on Makefile for the Makedep...

Status of PBQP register allocator?
Hi all,
I was wondering about whether the PBQP register allocator is likely to be
maintained in the future. It's proving to be a nice way to encode some
instruction encoding constraints for an out-of-tree backend we have, but
there's concern about it being abandoned or bitrotting in the future.
Also, if PBQP is likely to lapse out of regular maintenance in the future,
is there a simple

Developing reusable components?
Is there a development guide for best practices when making reusable
components?
For example, none of the login generators fit my requirements, and I
want to write my own. But after I''m done, I''ll want to share it with
multiple applications.
Is there documentation for the right way to go about doing this?
