SIP OPTIONS... Error?
I know over time SIP OPTIONS message handling has changed and I've seen some write ups that seem to indicate that an s extension in the default context is needed now to get them to work. Asterisk refuses INVITE (401) and I don't know why
Hello list, this is the communication between an Aastra 5000 PBX and Asterisk, where the Aastra makes a call to Asterisk. For some reason, Asterisk responds with 401-Unauthorized and I don't know why. Calls go well with Panasonic PBX, Avaya PBX, Alcatel-Lucent PBX but NOT with this Aastra. Queue agent login notification

custom ring tone
Few weeks back local telco introduced option of custom ring tones. I am not talking about your phone ring tones but about ring tones you hear in your headset while phone is ringing on the other end. If I understand correctly, ringing tone is generated localy on asterisk if you are connected to phone network with E1/T1 connection. Which means that instead of regular beep-beep tone we could send

Asterisk -> Office 365 Unified Messaging... anyone done it?
Trying to make this work, and Office 365 support is useless, giving me the following response when I asked them for help troubleshooting a 488 Not Acceptable Here. Regarding your service request about configuring your PBX system with Office 365, we do not support specific setups for PBX systems for Unified Messaging. Please contact the vendor for more specific instructions and configurations.

Bridged Call
I have a Bridged call with 2 parties. I want to redirect one party to a conference room and the other party to an outside number. I tried doing that with a dialplan. I used ChannelRedirect in the dialplan and redirected the first channel to the conference room. however, the second channel disconnects. Reading thru the mailing list i understand that this expected.
