snapdir visable recursively throughout a dataset
Is there an existing RFE for, what I''ll wrongly call, "recursively visable snapshots"? That is, .zfs in directories other than the dataset root.
Frankly, I don''t need it available in all directories, although it''d be nice, but I do have a need for making it visiable 1 dir down from the dataset root. The problem is that while ZFS and Zones work smoothly

XP shares not visable.
Hi -
I am trying to set up a very simple samba network in my home. I have one
Linux machine running samba with a share called storage. I have three
windows XP machines (XP professional SP2). All four machines are connected
through a private address space (192.168.0.x). From any of the XP machines
I can browse the network and see all four machines. If I click on the
Linux machine I can

folders in public namespace only visable to 2nd folder level in 2.2.29.1
Hi all,
I am currently facing an issue with Dovevot version 2.2.29.1 where
subfolders in a public namespace are only
visible to the 2nd folder level:
namespace Public -> folder "1st" -> folder -> "2nd" -> folder "3rd" ....
When one user creates a subfolder below the 2nd level other users do not
see that folder and are unable to

Bad_MIME on vacation messages
Hi,
I know I've brought this up before (see
http://www.mail-archive.com/dovecot at dovecot.org/msg20974.html), and I've
since upgraded to 1.2.6, but our vacation messages are still being rejected
because of Bad_MIME.
We are using Dovecot Sieve 0.1.12, the auto reply message contains ^M
characters at the end of a few lines, they are only visable through vi,
example:

TLS ca/cert/key creation
...auth = yes" user and group queries fail.
This is OBVIOUSLY using LDAP and TLS.
If this was via NTLM/Kerberos, the above setting wouldn't make the slightest difference.
But all that aside - the key question is: [Again, lets quit arguing if this is TLS/LDAP or Kerberos.]
*** How do I get visability into the TLS negotiation so I can figure out what's wrong with my ca/certs/keys.

removing visible journal.dat
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I created all my ext3 partitions a while back, so the journal.dat file is
visable. I'd like to remove them and use the new tune2fs functionality.
Can I just mount the drives as ext2, rm journal.dat, tune2fs -j /dev/hd?? and
then remount as ext3? Or am I missing something?
thanks!

Problems with Histogram
Hello
Currently i'm working on a paper for my study and, on advice of my tutor,
i'm using R.
But now i'm stuck on something.
I've used the bootstrap method to determine if a found value was
significant. Lets say this found value is x, the collection of random
samples is y (n=1e+06)
I've compared x to y and found that x is smaller then 963482 samples of y
(so p=0.037)

Sharing a Win-XP(pro) USB printer :(
Hello Family,
I'm having a hell of a time just trying to "see" the shared printer
on a Win-XP(pro) box here at home. All my other Windows boxes can
not only see it but print to it, my Unix family (all of the
relatives) of machines are having no luck.
I apologize if this is something simple for Samba has evolved so
much that one barely needs to do anything to get stuff working for

I am printing lattice plots from the R-interface to a printer, and although the y-axes of the left-most panels are visable on the screen, they are not present on the paper when there are multiple panels (ie, >1).
For example:
