Modifying SWAT views for general users
I'm looking at having my general Samba users change their own passwords on
my Linux server using SWAT. Is there a way that I can have them have
access to the password changing view and not be able to see the
configuration and status information. Is there an easy way for those
"button" to not appear on the web page?

How to hire a samba developer?
I'm curious about how one would go about contacting/hiring a samba
developer to fix a bug, or implement a feature. I've got a particular
bug in mind (1493), but it seems like it would be a good thing to know
in general.
Thanks,

Redhat 9 OVER, Fidora Support, comments please.
Hi *ers,
I recently got an Email from Redhat about the dropping of support for Redhat
9 on the 30 of April and that Fedora Project is the recommended future,
otherwise, RedHat enterprise ($$$).
Considering this, I would like some feed back on the Fedora Project from
users who may be using it, and how its going with Asterisk? Are there any
problems?
Is the Asterisk development team got Fedora

Participation on Samba lists
Luke Leighton (lkcl) has brought up his arguments about control
of Samba before. In October 2000 they resulted in the creation
of a new Samba code branch, samba-tng, which Luke and others who
agreed with his direction were free to do with as they will.
Samba-tng still exists, and we in the Samba Team still wish it
well, but what we can't continue to put up with is Luke still
rehashing the

Mac v Windows Mystery
Dear All,
I'm trying to track down a problem with my quantreg package reported by a user doing censored quantile regression.
When he runs the test4.R file attached below (which reads the csv file also attached) on his windows machine he gets
an error like this:
> Error in dimnames(B) <- list(c("tau", dimnames(x)[[2]], "Qhat"), NULL) :

Subject: Re: how to include bar values in a barplot?
Greg, I'm going to join issue with your here! Not that I'll go near
advocating "Excel-style" graphics (abominable, and the Patrick Burns
URL which you cite is remarkable in its restraint). Also, I'm aware
that this is potential flame-war territory -- again, I want to avoid
that too.
However, this is the second time you have intervened on this theme

It actually happened over the span of 2 years before any name change.
With the introduction of RHEL as a separate product, RHL was having an
identity crisis. It used to be that ".2" was the

HTB MPU
Hi.
I wrote in a reply to a mail on here recently that you can''t set mpu
(minimum packet unit) on HTB as you can on CBQ.
I''ve just noticed that there is a patch on devik''s site which does mpu
and overhead.
http://luxik.cdi.cz/~devik/qos/htb/
For dsl users mpu is, for practical purposes going to be 106 - overhead
is still variable though, depending on packet size.

ANNOUNCE: Flash Operator Panel

Its a server/client combo that displays the status of your Asterisk PBX
in a web browser in real time.
You can also perform some actions. Hang-up channels and Transfers via
drag and drop.
The difference with other similar tools is that it displays status in
real time (no refreshing necessary), and its graphically appealing.
It's a work in progress... so

Successful Inplace migration from 4.4 to 5.0
I was able to successfully migrate from 4.4 to 5.0 in place. I created a
guide for our webhost and thought to share it with the community in
general.
I registered as JasonPotkanski on the wiki.
As a side note, if spam on the CentOS wiki is terrible, perhaps use of
Bad Behavior may be used.
