Sentinel Driver
I'm trying to run the Ardis Cutting Optimizer under wine but it uses a Rainbow Sentinel driver to detect a parallel port dongle for copy protection. I have the dongle and I've installed the sentinel driver, but when I run wine COWIN.exe I get the following: fixme:vxd:VXD_Open Unknown/unsupported VxD L"sntnlusb.vxd". Try setting Windows version to 'nt40' or

NT MD4 password check failed
I'm sorry for asking a question which has been asked so many times before, but I can't seem to find the answer... How do I get to access my home directory on a Linux server running Samba from a Windows XP client? I'm getting "NT MD4 password check failed" in the log file even though the Windows client is listed in hosts.equiv. More information below... I have a small home

wine hangs on first run
I'm using a fresh install of Fedora Core 5 with the RPM install of Wine 0.9.12. When I run winecfg, it says "wine: creating configuration directory '/home/vince/.wine'..." as I expect it to. Following that is many lines of "Font metrics" progress with a few "fixme:font" messages. Nothing seems too unusual. But, when it gets to "Font metrics:

deSolve - Function daspk on DAE system - Error (Vince)
Vince, When that happens, one possible reason is that your DAE is of index > 1, which cannot be solved by daspk. The solver radau, also from deSolve can handle DAEs up to index 3, but you need to rewrite the problem in the form M*y' = f(x,y), where M is a mass matrix. If you do that for your problem, and solve it with radau, then radau complains that the "matrix is repeatedly

[EXTERNAL] Re: Developing OPUS on TI CC3220
Jean-Marc, Thanks for the response and the helpful info. I am trying to get the library to build without using the pseudostack define, and use either VAR_ARRAYS or ALLOC, but it seems the global stack is not defined. Where do can I define this in my example? VR -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Marc Valin [mailto:jmvalin at jmvalin.ca] Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2018 5:40 PM To:

Sample code for streaming from a file
It's not by much but the little piece of the puzzle I haven't been able to figure out is how to write the function that will read out a small chuck, process it, and then exit. This function would then be called continuously to process another small chunk when the previous chunk is done playing. I've already tried separating out that bit of code in speexdec to no avail.

In our environment, we would like to map two drives to a Samba server, each as a different user. For instance, I'm user "vince", but many of us also work as user "developer" in a special directory. Thus we would like to make the following connections: F: maps to \\sambaServer\\homes user: vince G: maps to \\sambaServer\\developer user: developer I can do
